Noah
Cheeseman.

I am a frontend
developer and
IT consultant.

Currently I am
an IT specialist
at Deloitte.

About me

Raised on the south coast of England, I love being outdoors, being pragmatic and fish & chips. I moved to London in 2019, graduated in Computer Science from King’s last year and have been working here since. I also lived for a year in Munich, Germany during uni and I can definitely see myself going back.

I’ve worked at big corporations and small businesses – I like having a mix, I think it keeps things interesting. I’ve worked on everything from commercial applications to ANPR barrier systems and promotional video production.

I’m proud of the work I’ve delivered and the research I’ve contributed to. Feel free to have a browse through my portfolio and see for yourself. I’m always interested in the next challenge, so if something catches your eye, or you think I could help with a project, I’d love to hear from you 😁

Some of my university, work and personal projects

Communo

2024

Community and AI knowledge platform for type-1 diabetes pump users

My award-nominated dissertation project, this Next.js React app combined artificial intelligence, databases and authentication to address inaccessible insulin pump design. The project research, which was some of the first of its kind, identified that limited user involvement in the design process, complex system design and inconsistent education result in barriers that can make effective pump treatment more difficult.

Siemens WAAM

2023

Additive manufacturing sensor dashboard with 3D visualisation and AI anomaly detection

As lead front-end developer, I built a real-time monitoring interface for an additive manufacturing system using Vue.js, Vite and AI-powered anomaly detection. The platform visualised live sensor data via Plotly with Socket.IO and MQTT integration, while drawing on time-series data from TimescaleDB.

A technical exhibit of my personal work and portfolio (and also this website)

This website, which is my personal portfolio (noah.uk), is built using TypeScript, Tailwind 4 and Next.js App Router. While I’ve used some Shad.cn components for an accessible foundation, all branding and site components are custom-designed and developed by me. Content is delivered via Microsoft Azure Cloud hosting.

Responsible AI Education

2024

Toolkits, articles and research promoting safe, inclusive and responsible artificial intelligence

A research platform built for my uni professor, this Next.js with Typescript application uses Strapi CMS for content publishing and hosting. I created the vibrant branding and UX through collaboration in Figma before developing the front-end, integrated content APIs and custom unit tests with Jest.

My values

Deliver excellence

Detail orientation, proactivity and courage set my approach apart. By encouraging pragmatism and problem solving, I realise ideas into quality outcomes.

Build connection

Remaining curious allows me to listen and continually learn from myself and others. Staying open to different perspectives and new approaches keeps complacency away.

Uphold integrity

Doing the right thing, championing transparency and authenticity are my cornerstones. Delivering for myself, not for others, keeps me accountable and committed to making the right choice, not the popular one.

Reject limits

Forging my own path around barriers has been how I overcome setbacks. Being an advocate and sharing experience is how I try to uplift those around me.
